We believe and practice the fundamental principles of psychiatric rehabilitation by addressing the unique needs of each individual, helping to establish roles and integration into community life, facilitating the development of personal support networks, and working to enhance the quality of life for each person receiving services. Most importantly, we believe that each individual should be treated with respect and dignity, has the ability to learn and grow, and should play an important role in their personal recovery.
To assist each person in building upon their inherent strengths in developing and enhancing the skills needed for optimal living in today's society.
Charles County Freedom Landing's services are funded through Medical Assistance, fees, funding from the Behavioral Health Administration of the Maryland Department of Health, special grants, donations, and other funding sources as available.
